“Traces of Trust” is a piece developed for M3 Engineering & Technology Corporation as part of their 40th anniversary video. It focuses on the people who have been part of the company over time and the relationships they have built with their clients.

The Origin

Over the years, we’ve collaborated with M3 on different video projects. That ongoing work shaped a shared understanding of video as more than a deliverable—something that reflects how they think and operate.

That understanding led them to work with us again for their 40th anniversary, this time at their Tucson headquarters. The goal was not only to commemorate the milestone, but to create a piece that shows how both their clients and their team are part of something larger.

From there, the concept took shape around a central idea: trust.

“Traces of Trust” connects two dimensions of M3’s work. On one side, the lines that define their projects through architecture and engineering. On the other, the relationships they build with clients and within their own teams.

A Look into the Production

We worked with clean visuals, precise framing, and controlled color, aiming to convey a sense of closeness and warmth without losing the structure and rigor that define the company. Every shot was intentional, with careful attention to composition and detail, so that the look of the piece aligns with how M3 approaches its projects.

The interviews were approached as a way to show the range of people within the company.

We included both long standing team members and those just starting out, reflecting different perspectives within the same culture. The goal was not only to show what they do, but how they experience it.

For M3, it was important to give equal weight to both their clients and their team. This piece reflects that approach, showing how both are part of the same system and how those relationships extend beyond a single project.

The piece is built from that perspective and makes it visible. Through the narrative, the interviews, and the cinematography, it shows how both sides are connected within the same system, where relationships are built with intention and sustained over time.
