T&P: A Content Strategy Built on Backing, Not Product

T&P is a Mexican HVACR company built to connect with contractors — heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration.

The challenge: speak to a contractor who has heard the same promise from every supplier a hundred times. The campaign delivered one clear message: the strength of an operation depends on who you choose to back it.

Two characters carry the strategy: Hugo and Mario. A video content series built around two contractors in the same role, facing the same demands, making different choices. Hugo works with T&P. Mario chooses other suppliers.

The strategy started with focused research: understanding a specific niche and identifying which consumption patterns created real identification. Current consumption behavior confirmed a central idea — audiences prefer content where they recognize themselves. The first phase was built from real day-to-day situations shared by the client. World Cup context was added for cultural relevance and weight. The goal wasn't direct selling. It was proximity — showing the audience their daily reality is understood, building pieces made to feel like theirs.

A visual decision that reinforces the strategy

The visual system reinforces the same argument. Blue and violet tones were chosen for their association with technology, security, and professionalism. The cinematography aims for a corporate, sober, elegant language without losing warmth. The edit holds an agile rhythm, with subtle comedic beats drawn from the situations themselves — never forced, never exaggerated.

Production ran 3 days across 3 locations, with professional actors Rodolfo Nevárez and Cuauhtémoc. The office set served as the primary stage — where Hugo and Mario live inside the story.

Two additional shoots outside Hermosillo, in Monterrey and Guadalajara, captured two key branch locations. This material added scale and dynamism to the series.

For T&P, this content system did more than produce a series. It organized the message, differentiated the value, and positioned the brand with contractors around what actually matters: structure, trust, and responsiveness.

Does your content answer what your client needs to know, or does it just look good?
